1.     Ashwagandha

  • Ashwagandha: a plant in the Solanaceae nightshade family from India. The root and berry have been used for hundreds of years as medicine – mostly for stress as it is an adaptogen.

  • Reduces stress and anxiety, fight depression, boost our brain function. 

2.    Passionflower

  • Passionflower: a climbing vine from South America, where the parts above the ground are used for medicine

  • Reduces anxiety, improves sleep quality, this calming herb’s power lies in stress reduction. 

3.    Rhodiola Rosea

  • Rhodiola Rosea: a perennial flowering plant from the Crassulaceae family whose roots are adaptogens (helps the body adapt to the stress it's under).

  • Decreases stress, fights fatigue, reduces symptoms of depression. 

4.    Magnesium

  • Food source: dark chocolate, avocados, nuts

  • A mineral that is required for energy production. When we are stress, we are fatigued – which is where magnesium comes in.

  • It boosts our energy, helps lower blood pressure, and assists in fighting depression. 

5.    B5

  • Food source: mushrooms, beef, organ meats

  • A water-soluble vitamin that helps make blood cells, as well as helps us convert what we eat into energy.

  • This vitamin supports cognitive and mental function, reduces stress, and strengthens our immune system.
